Danang Beauty (danang.beauty) is an AI-powered spa concierge service that helps visitors discover and book premium spa experiences in Da Nang, Vietnam. We operate via our website and WhatsApp. Contact us at: hello@danang.beauty.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to provide our service:
- WhatsApp messages: Your phone number and the text of messages you send to our WhatsApp number, used to respond to your enquiries and process bookings.
- Booking details: Name, preferred date, treatment, and spa chosen — provided voluntarily during booking.
- Usage data: Anonymous event data (page views, booking funnel steps) via Plausible Analytics — no cookies, no cross-site tracking.
We do not collect payment data, passport details, or any sensitive personal information.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To respond to your WhatsApp messages via our AI concierge ("Lily")
- To create and manage spa bookings on your behalf
- To send booking confirmations and reminders via WhatsApp
- To improve our service quality and AI responses
We never sell your data to third parties.
4. AI Processing
Your WhatsApp messages are processed by Claude AI (Anthropic, Inc.) to generate personalised recommendations and booking assistance. Message content is sent to Anthropic's API and subject to their Privacy Policy. We do not use your messages to train AI models.
5. WhatsApp / Meta
Our WhatsApp service operates via the Meta Cloud API. When you message our WhatsApp business number, your data is also processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. subject to their WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
6. Data Storage
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted in Singapore, AWS ap-southeast-1). Conversation history is retained for up to 90 days to maintain booking context. Booking records are kept for 2 years for business purposes.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (right to erasure)
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent at any time by messaging "STOP" on WhatsApp

8. Cookies
Our website does not use tracking cookies. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that is fully GDPR compliant and does not use cookies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at danang.beauty/privacy. Significant changes will be communicated via WhatsApp to active users.
